Coordination Meetings:
1st  Coordination Meeting in Eisenwurzen – Austria, 19th – 20th June 2003
1st Coordination meeting held on the 19th –20th of June 2004 in Eisewurzen, Austria. During the meeting the final draft of the application form for the INTERREG III C project was discussed and prepared. Each Geopark member presented a report concerning the activities that is going to realize in each component and semester and also the corresponding detailed budget. The reports were discussed and controlled.

Coordination meeting was held in Rocca Di Cerere Geopark (March 2004) parallel to the thematic seminar on the evaluation
2nd Coordination Meeting on Lesvos – Island, Greece 10th – 20th April 2004

2nd Coordination meeting held on the 19th – 20th of April 2004 in Mytilini, Lesvos, Greece. During this meeting
discussion took place about the first 10 months progress (1st Progress Report, June 2003 – May 2004). Furthermore, several problems concerning the filling of the budget report and also the certification of the expenses were discussed.

According to the realizations of the project the topics of the 2nd issue of European Geopark’s magazine were agreed and also the preparation of the common WEB-site.

3rd Coordination Meeting in Digne – France, 17th - 20th June 2004
3rd Coordination Meeting held on 17th – 20th June 2004 in Digne, France and  hosted by Réserve naturelle geolique de Haute Provence. During the meeting three applications were examined coming from different regions of Europe: Europe’s Coral Coast Geopark Devon UK, North – West Highlands and Hateg Country Dinosaurs Geopark Romania. Moreover, discuss took place concerning the preparation of the  next open meeting in Madonie Geopark, Italy during October 2004.

4th coordination meeting in Bergstarsse Odenwald geopark - March 2005
5th coordination meeting in Copper Coast Geopark - June 2005
Coordination meeting was held 4 October 2005 in Mitilini, Lesvos, Greece.
During this meeting was finalized the progress report for the period May - October 2005. It was also decided to ask for a three months elongation of the Projects duration.

Seminars:

1st  Seminar on Evaluation of Geoparks 18 - 21 March 2004 in Enna, Sicilia, Italia

During the evaluation seminar all EGN members  met in order to agree on a  common evaluation and revalidation document (questionary) which will  guarantee a  high quality of the offered services to the visitors.
